About

SFL BlackboardMost landlords in England and Wales are not big professional landlords with a huge portfolio.

They are small landlords, with just one or two properties.

Like you.

Maybe you have an agent manage your property, or maybe you do it yourself – but do you know anything about your legal rights and obligations?

Landlord and tenant law is a legal minefield – full of rules and regulations.

Even if you use an agent you will still get blamed if things go wrong – the tenant will sue YOU rather than your agent.

So it pays to make sure that you are doing things right. You don’t want to get into trouble, and you need to know the best way to deal with your tenants if THEY are the ones causing the problems.

However you don’t have time to attend courses and you can’t afford most of the courses on offer anyway. Times are tough and you have to be careful with your cash.

That is why I set up School for Landlords

At School for Landlords we have plans to bring you online training and webinars, talks and podcasts from Industry professionals, face to face conferences, and some free videos.

We have started with out free e course.

Here’s how the free e course works

Sign up and every week for the next 13 weeks, you will get a new email linking to a page on the site with information and an article about that weeks topic.

The articles are very informative and the page will also include links to relevant posts on the Landlord Law Blog, and details of other free and paid for services available via my Landlord Law and other services.
