School for Landlords

Online tuition - the easy way

Most landlords in England and Wales are not big professional landlords with a huge portfolio.

They are small landlords, with just one or two properties.

Like you.

Maybe you have an agent manage your property, or maybe you do it yourself – but do you know anything about your legal rights and obligations?

Landlord and tenant law is a legal minefield – full of rules and regulations.

Even if you use an agent you will still get blamed if things go wrong – the tenant will sue YOU rather than your agent.

So it pays to make sure that you are doing things right. You don’t want to get into trouble, and you need to know the best way to deal with your tenants if THEY are the ones causing the problems.

However you don’t have time to attend courses and you can’t afford most of the courses on offer anyway. Times are tough and you have to be careful with your cash.

That is why I started the School for Landlords videos – as so long as you view them promptly :-

Its all free!

Here’s how it works:

  • Every week (when the school is in session) there will be an instruction video loaded up to the Landlord Law blog and to the Landlord Law membership site (+plus members only)
  • The videos will all be fairly short – but if you watch them all, the knowledge will build up
  • You can watch each video as often as you like, while it is online. If you have any questions or comments, use the comments area below
  • After two weeks. the videos will no longer work, but there will usually be new ones online by then. There will generally be one or two live videos at any one time
  • Old videos will remain visible to +plus members of Landlord Law

As well as the instruction videos, there will also be discussions with industry professionals giving their comments on the matters covered in the videos.

There are other plans in the pipeline, apart from the little free videos, and we will be announcing these in due course.
